10 kuai change from 100RMB for a double patty with (optional) cheese and bacon with fries and coke, presented on a tray and wrapped in paper? Is someone having a laugh? I could have had a similar experience in Burger King for a fraction of the cost. For burgers at this price level it's Blue Frog all the way for me, proper service, chunkier beefier burger, nicer environment. I leave Blue Frog feeling satisfied; I left Fatburger feeling cheated. Never again.

Thought I had better check this place out having read the reviews, though I really should have known better.

The burger was fine. A little more 'gourmet' than McNasties and BK but nothing to wank about like most people below. The shakes were good, but horrifically tiny for the price. Onion rings were ordinary.

This is the slowest I have ever eaten 'fast' food. The 210RMB bill for one dble burger, one veggie burger, two shakes, fries and onion rings had me staring down at the pitiful little offering in amazement. I honestly did not want to eat it given how much it had cost, and how long it was going to last.

Considering it's location to Home Plate, I really can't understand how this place stays in business. Even more ridiculous when you consider you can go to blue frog on a monday, eat bigger and better, and get bladdered on cocktails for the same price.

Expensive but tasty. We don't have Fatburgers in Chicago and for fast food they indeed are tasty burgers but they can really do some damage to your wallet. For these prices Let's burger or even the Hilton aren't such a bad alternatives. Want cheaper? just go to Burger King.

I almost had a coronary when I read another review that said the burgers are similar to McDonald's. Comparing Fatburger to McDonalds is like comparing that awesome Chinese restaurant in your neighborhood to Panda Express. Give me a break.

The burger was big, the beef was awesome and delicious, and the only thing that would have made me happier would be to have a burger from In-n-Out. Living in a smaller city with ONLY McDonald's as a choice for hamburgers, I was dying to try this place out, and I was not disappointed. If I was going to say anything negative it would be that the onion rings didn't look very much like the picture on the menu. They were very thick, and I prefer thinner onion rings. However, I know lots of people love their onion rings thick, so I wouldn't knock that part too much. Dear lord I wish there were a Fatburger where I live.

Yes, it's a little pricey for a burger but I think it's totally worth it. You pay half the price at McDonalds or Burger King but the burgers at those places are half as thick so it all works out. I don't know why the China World location isn't listed here but it's very convenient. The best burger I've had in Beijing hands down.

All of these people who don't appreciate Fatburger - they must be French or something. This is the best burger in Beijing.

Of course, I hate gourmet burgers, which are really targeting the Eurotrash who don't understand burgers. For red blooded Americans, this is the place to go for a burger in the Jing.

The cheese is better here than at mcdonald and the bread too. The patty too.
But for the price .If the price was about little higher or still fine.But it doesnt work for the prices.
Because it doesnt have the settings of date even you cant bring in a date with candle light!
But I still like the fat fries which are less salty than macd.
Its a likeable place but the prices dont warrant a quick second time.

After having heard the hype for quite some time, I was excited to test out this Fatburger joint. My conclusion: impostor! Pluses are that it's clean has good natural light and a reasonably nice staff. That's about it. Fatburger may be "fat", but only if you're willing to shell out. For 100 RMB my guest and I picked up what amounted to 1 McDonald's double hamburger and a paltry order of fries. That's about 2 RMB/fry and 15 RMB/oz beef for fare quality that rates as above-par fast food. Yet, it's not that fast. Lesson from trip one: Don't go there hungry.

Since everyone has a bad day, I thought to give it a second chance - my mistake. There were no burgers at fatburger. What? No beef, none. Inconceivable. How? You tell me. Still, benefit of the doubt, let me have a chicken sandwich. The result, a cubelet of chicken dwarfed by the bun and hidden under an average slice of tomato. Moreover, it's mushy pink three-quarters of the way through. So Fatburger, you are an egregrious misnomer and I don't plan on returning anytime soon. For alternate choices on an honest burger, visit just about any respectable restaurant or bar or sacrifice a few smidgens of quality and do fast food for 1/5 the price.

Fatburger has good patties, good bread.The quality of patties at burger king may be not as tasty ,but their bread is good.
Fatburger makes better fries than burger king but their prices are too much to ask for.
Eating out at fatburger can be once in a while .

compared with butcher house burger i prefer this option because it is what it is, u know exactly what ur getting and unless ur really hungry its a wasted trip - and no veggie option sucks

fat chips get tiring after a few - but id go again - great for the munchies!!
