Impress out-of-town guests at this recently remodeled historical site (now under new management) that was the former residence of the Empress Dowager's little brother. Tea is the star of this restaurant, and many dishes (i.e Lu Yu Brews Tea, made from beef, pepper and tea leaves, and green tea flavored noodles) include tea leaves in their ingredients. Sichuan selections (i.e. xiaoyao jicuigu - a spicy chicken dish), Cantonese specialties and dishes made from recipes described in Dream of the Red Mansion are also available. Outdoor dining in warm weather months and menus are in Chinese only.
