Haidian Park 海淀公园
If you’re feeling imperial, this large park just south of the Summer Palace is a good bet. It’s stocked with a lake, a fishing canal, a large kite-flying field, and a modest kids’ amusement area with two moonwalks, a trampoline, an inflatable climbing wall, a labyrinth, and more. Free.

Review of Haidian Park
One can have great fun in the park, kite-flying is lots of fun for me at least and the field there really allows you to do your thing. I was really excited about the fishing canal too.. I remember being this excited only when I received free Barcelona tickets from a friend:)
