Don't bother taking the trip

Wandered over here a few weekends ago and was not impressed. The store selection is weak (just your usual Jack & Jones, Only etc.) and the restaurants are so-so (it does have a Bellagio, but everything else is the usual Beijing mall-fare: Dolar Shop, Korean fast foodie type places etc.) Probably the best thing about this place is the underground supermarket, which is great for the surrounding residential compounds, but just about it.

Seems like the whole city is being planned around malls. Note to city planners: Less malls, more parks.

Not bad, but too far from everywhere

This will be an awesome mall once everything inside is open for business. Last time I was there, their fitness centre, karaoke were still closed. As for the stores, they dont have the 'must have' brands like Zara, HM, Uniqlo, Mango... But they have OVS, an Italian brand, which is very nice and I have never seen of in any other malls in Beijing.
They have good restaurants. I was thrilled to find Pepper Lunch there. But once I tried it, it's very disappointing (I should write an individual review for Pepper Lunch but couldnt find it in the directory).
Good supermarket, very similar to Ito Yokado. At night they give discount to all sushi, sashimi, and other things that expire on that day.
Despite all of that, I dont think I will ever go back there anymore since I already moved from that area. Well at least until subway line 6 opens.

Sweet! This is near our place!

I was overjoyed knowing there's a mall so close to where I live. Since it is still quite new, not all shops are opened yet. But the basic ones are there. Jusco is a good place for clothes and shoes. There's also a grocery store in the basement. Boutique shops on higher levels. Information counter was friendly when we asked about certain shop location. Parking was a little scary because they had only opened one lane to be shared between vehicles exiting and entering the garage. But I'm sure there will be a separate lane and exit area soon. It's free at the moment. Overall, a very convenient spot for me to shop from now on.
