ok so - full disclosure: Only been here once, but it was by far, one of the coolest bars I've been to in a while. The dance area in the basement has padded walls for flailing arms and crazy dancing. Its got three levels of pure goodness:

basement- feels like your at the best house party ever
main floor- drinks and chilled out chatting area
second floor- loungey area with a bathroom! Yes a bathroom! Even though you are in a hutong! oh the luxury.

ON top of that, all the floors are see-through (except the bathroom of course ha-ha)

Anyways, will definitely be checking this place out again

The staff is always friendly, and available to chat. Not many customers, except for Chinese friends of the management so plenty of space to move around. This also means the pool table is often open. Good place to take a date too since the upstairs offers a great view of Gulou's hutongs. Tsingtaos are cold and come 15RMB a pop. Suggest the screwdriver at 20RMB. Usually has reggae pumping from the speakers. Better over than Nanluoguxiang.
