I learned this funny expression of chicken wings from this place about 4 years ago. Now "Psycho Spice" (变态辣)has became super-popular among Chinese young generation. If I want to have tons of kao chi(烤翅) for a meal, there r only two options worth going. Guo Mao kao chi and this one.

Guo mao kao chi seems become worse and worse after they moved to Si hui. That place is hard to find, I still remember it took us one hour to find the place from da wang lu on a work outing night. However, when it was still located at the guo mao bridge, their chicken wings were just perfect! I mean, every single one of them.

Xi dan kao chi is more famous for their "Psycho Spice" chicken wings tho, I'm not saying their "normal" wings are not good. If you go there, you gotta try the super-spicy wings at least once. It's full of red pepper powder on the chicken wings and it's so thick that you can even see any of the roasted wings.

Normally I'm ok with it, but when at this kind of occasions, I would hate the population in China. Even for some chicken wings, you have to make a reservation. What the hell....maybe this society makes people go crazy, that's why they invented "Psycho Spice" chicken wings, after having the super spicy wings, you would become a psycho and you won't care too much any more. :P
