Having been a previous regular at Southern Beauty and Spice Spirit, finding Yu Xin has been a pleasant surprise. Every dish we ordered was excellent, and the prices very reasonable. Some of the smaller cold dishes are as low as 3rmb, making it a great place to experiment with a wide selection of new dishes (all of which turned out to be delicious, particularly the spicy cold noodles)

The restaurant is well designed with bamboo partitions to give privacy to all diners, and the atmosphere is more laid back than those places mentioned above. Service is friendly and efficient.

We visited the branch near SciTech, which is spread across the first and second floors of an office block - an odd arrangement, but who cares when the food is this good.

Loads of great dishes, though I prefer not to go there with to many Chinese people. Since in general they will always order that oily tasteless fish. They have another fish I think it's called "nian yu yi fen", with a slightly sour taste that is much much better. Like others already mentioned you might have to wait for a table if you don't go there at the right time!

Been there several times, generally speaking is good. The environment feels comfortable, there is small bamboo fence that separates the area. usually you need to make a reservation coz there're so many people will come in rush hour.service is good.LaZiJiDing(diced chicken with red pepper) is the BEST!!!!!!!

I've been going to this place pretty regularly over the couple of years I've been in Beijing and, unlike a lot of local restaurants that go through good and bad patches, I've found the service and food consistently good. The prices are also very reasonable.

Whether you are after a quick meal before an event (the service is always fast) or a long night of stuffing your face, drinking beer and talking with a big group, this restaurant always manages to deliver the goods.
