After having the most delicious thick, creamy and dreamy hot chocolate in Barcelona and Paris.
The hot chocolate here..really sucked...I was hoping for something decadent, rich, intense and instead what I got was a watered down version of a cadbury hot chocolate (no offense to cadbury).
But for 50rmb a cup I expect something totally sinful....worth gaining weight over.
I hope they improve on this...as I really do love Godiva truffles.
So I will patiently wait and see if it gets better.
I don't understand what kind of people would use such an offensive word but I have quite different review to this place. I like it a lot, though I don't think it's posh at all.
Sometimes I just go there, taking like 20 minutes to have a hot chocolate and leave. So far it's my favourite hot chocolate drink in Beijing (I don't like it to be too sweet if it helps)
I agree the ambiance doesn't have anything to do with luxury at all and it's even not that cozy. But when I saw their terrace, I could picture a relaxing summer afternoon sitting there having some icecream.
Only problem is that they don't have restroom.
Bad food, bad industrial Chocolate. Godiva, where all the 装b girls who think it's posh to eat chocolate go thinking they're going to have a quality meal/drink.
The fact that it costs 70kuais doesnt mean it's good.
Ok I might be pissed because I just spent 150 kuais to have what was supposed to be a taste of 5 of their pastries, none of them was good.
Also, a woman just returned her drink that was supposed to have praline in it which it didnt. I guess I'm not the only one disappointed here.
Oh, and their wifi didnt work at that time.
I dont mind paying the high price for quality, dont go there if you are looking for something good.
