Carol and Lus are definitely a good choice if your looking for suits and shirts in Beijing. They have a good choice of materials and designs, and can pretty much make whatever it is you need. They aren't the cheapest tailor in town, but after using a few different ones, I've decided these guys are best. Suits always fit me nice, and feel comftable, so what more can you need?

Actually, better than the clothes, is the staff, which I guess is just as important. Really friendly people, they take time to get to know you and understand what you need, which is really important when getting clothes made, IMHO.

So yeah, after several years, and trying a few different places, I still come back to Carl and Luc, and can deffo recommend other people to give them a try.

The same sh*t quality

This quality is just about the same as D&J fine tailor. SH*t. You can see my review on them for more. They lie to your face like all the tailors, they don't have ANY100% wool. Lots of their shirt fabric is even polyester cotton blend.

You get highly customized service here at carol and luc. the fit is pretty good. the customer service is amazing. the lady that works there is so nice.
the fabrics are okay but i always suspect if it is indeed 100% wool. its located in the DRC(where the foreign diplomats live) so i guess they have a very large foreign customer base. this gives me a little bit more confidence than the yashow tailors who work in a counterfeit market.
I have shirts and a suit made there.
I mean it is good but I feel it falls short of the elite tailors or brands. I have a $500 USD off the rack suit that just looks sharper(it might be the materials or the cut) the shirt was also a bit short(being cheap to save costs, make sure you specify the length)

never the less, i highly recommend them. they are 100% professional and the product is good.
