Beijing Jintai Art Museum was built by the Beijing Yiyuan Association for Culture and it was opened in the year of 1997. It is one of biggest private museums in China. The construction museum covers 3,600 square meters and the facilities are implemented according to latest technical requirements the whole architectural style is very unique and five golden roofs form the elegant appearance of five mountains and it also neighbors the “Evening Glow in Jintai”, a place known as one of eight top scenes in Beijing. The purpose of establishing Jintai Museum is to improve public awareness on culture and promote the international cultural exchanges. Collections of the museum are Chinese paintings and calligraphy, including famous works of masters in ancient and modern times as well as cultural relics in different dynasties. Also features ink-and-wash portrait exhibitions, a sculpture park, classical European furniture, stone exhibitions and a youth education site.
