User reviews of Paddy O'Shea's
I went in to try some of the "new items" on the menu. Easy pub grub but don't expect too much in terms of taste or qualitly. Expect to pay a lot compared to other places in the area though.
Still, probably the best place in sanlitun to catch a game!
Always liked Paddy's for being a good sports bar, but in recent years I have avoided eating there because the bar food has seriously been going downhill (or at least comparatively weak compared to relative newcomers like Great Leap, Slow Boat etc).
The Paddy's Burger, although 65 rmb (10 rmb more expensive than Great Leap's legendary cheeseburger), is a serious piece of work. A perfect soft bun containing a slap-up delicious mess of prime beef perfectly cooked, onions, crispy bacon and cheese with high quality lettuce, tomatoes and onions left on the side in case you want to add them.
Kudos to Paddy's for seriously sorting out their menu.
I ordered the chicken club sandwich off Sherpas and ate half before I started throwing up for two hours. I checked the chicken and turns out it was only cooked on the outside. It was still raw on the inside. Never ordering from here again.
Food is not fantestic but I did not go there for food anyway, I went there for a drink with buddies after long work hours and tough busienss negotiation. We enjoyed the atmosphere. To me, that's more important.
