Review of Pebbles Courtyard

On those days when Vineyard is full (or can't get their act together service-wise) take a little stroll another 100 meters or so to Sand Pebbles. The Mexican food is as good as anywhere else in Beijing and the service each time I've been there has been pretty friendly and efficient. Not a huge place so probably not the best for big groups. Decent drinks list. Good Wifi. Pretty chill place to get lunch or do some afternoon writing.

If you are coming from the Andingmen side, its one of the first restaurants on the right hand side. The sign is a little small.

I agree its the best Mexican food in Beijing, large portions and very reasonable. The owner is a younger kid, that spent some time in America. Very nice little place.

Max, I think for you to ever call Sand Pebbles awful is a really unfair comment. If you happned to have found another restaurant you like, fair enough, but Sand Pebbles always has very authentic style, big portions, and the quality of the meats is always good.

I have nothing to do with this establishment, but anyone who likes American style Mexican food will enjoy the food here.
