What's Cooking at The Pavillion?

We've heard that the Pavillion space on Gongti Donglu will be occupied early next year by a "Beijing version of Tavern on the Green", says William Bolton, aka Chef Billy, of Chef Too. Last year, we offered a peek at his now-scrapped Sanlitun North project, The Grill, which sadly never materialized. The new concept is somewhat different to The Grill's proposed Californian style: Instead, expect a "European grill experience," making the most of The Pavilion's open spaces and lush lawns.
