Make Your Own China Memes

From the flood of responses we got for the Beijing in Six Words writing competition (more on that to come UPDATE: See the winners you picked here), it’s clear you’re all looking for creative outlets for your expat experience.

Well, lucky you. Just last week, we caught wind of a new China Memes Tumblr account, in which a large number of people with either Photoshop skillz or access to a handy meme generator website have taken to spinning out their own China-themed memes, featuring the subway, ayis and everybody’s favorite scapegoat: the hipster.

They're not all very funny, mind you, but they are very true, and will give you the chance to commiserate with fellow expats over the China experience. And we're hoping that as more people join the ranks of the China meme generators, we'll get some better material floating around.
