Tale of the Tape

Brussels

The new kid on the block has risen quickly through the weights to challenge for the top prize this year. With no fewer than 13 separate nods in this year's reckoning, Brussels is surely one of the favorites to go all the way.

Migas

A familiar name in the melee for the top gong. Migas continues to go from strength to strength, and really hits its stride during the summer months of the campaign. A favorite of the groovers and the glamorous, Migas also weighed in with 13 nominations this year.

Great Leap Brewing
Great Leap took a different route to the top than some of its more refined contemporaries in the division. While it holds limited appeal in some quarters, its achievements deserve recognition. Has a younger brother coming through the ranks who is widely tipped to be the next big thing in the division.

Mai Jeff Ji's cocktail bar is smaller in stature than most in the division, but has punched above its weight to establish itself as a genuine contender. Many have come off a cropper after underestimating Mai's punching power.

4corners

After starting out life in a different discipline altogether, 4corners has become a favorite. Entertains the crowd with its varied styles.

d lounge One of the best-dressed sportsmen around, d lounge is not the hardest hitter but wins fights with elegant movement and stylish flourishes.

Mao Mao Chong Its trademark Mala Mule has turned the lights out on many an unsuspecting journeyman, but Mao Mao Chong has made its name as much for its staggering combinations as for its hefty hooks.

Modernista The purist's pugilist, Modernista is a fighter harking back to the traditions of yesteryear. For anyone nostalgic for the great names of the past, this is the fighter for you.

Temple Dances around the ring then rocks opponents with a crashing uppercut. Has delivered many a one-two-three-four combination to beat an opponent.
