Beijing's Fourth Apple Store Set to Open Friday

Apple will open its fourth showcase Apple Store in Beijing on Friday, January 10 at the China Central Mall, a retail area colloquially known as Hua Mao.

This store, situated in an upscale mall in eastern Beijing, will span two floors and occupy about 500 square meters. The new retail opening comes just ahead of the beginning of Apple's deal with China Mobile, which will make the popular iPhone available to world's single-largest service provider's 600 million customers for the first time. Both will appear just in time for the Spring Festival shopping season.

The Hua Mao location joins the original store in Sanlitun's Taikoo Li South, opened in July 2008, as well as locations in Wangfujing and Xidan Joy City.
