Talking Tunes: Dirty Vegas, Dirty Beaches

British house gurus, Dirty Vegas will be hitting up Beijing on March 6th. For over ten years this group has been DJ-ing the worlds most famous clubs, featured on plenty of soundtracks for TV and film, and won a Grammy in 2003 for Best Dance Recording with their track "Days Go By." Now they are back and touring with a bulk of new tracks, made with Swede producer Thomas Sagstad, to get you bumping next month at Yugong Yishan

Also in music news, China's prodigal son Dirty Beaches will be returning for X Nights on April 10 at Yugong Yishan. He will be supported by the Manuel Hermia Trio, and Ligne de Font. If you don't know Dirty Beaches, he has been blowing up for the past couple years with lots of critical acclaim, especially for his Badlands release, and has toured with groups like Dum Dum Girls and Xiu Xiu. This is a must see.

If you missed the memo, X Nights is an amazing event organized by Beijing's Wangba Music. It will be held at Yugong Yishan on April 10, 26 and May 10. This will be an amazing concert series featuring a handful of important artists from around the world including Haino Keiji, Matthieu Ha, and Sexy Sushi. Just a little something awesome, to guide you into the spring concert season.
