Donnie Yen Cracks Skulls in US-China Co-production, Halloween Horror Films Showing in Beijing

Donnie Yen is gearing up to bash in some faces in a new English-language co-production called Noodle Man, set in the mean streets of New York's Chinatown.

Yen will play his normal tough guy self with all of those bone crushing feats of kung fu. The stage is set with an ex-cop (Donnie Yen) from China, who immigrated to the states after a botched mission to take down a powerful drug lord resulted in the death of his partner. Years later, still pretty bummed about his partner's death and working in a noodle shop in America, the drug lord responsible serendipitously reappears, giving this broken officer of the law a new lease on life. Like they say in many an action film, "Revenge is a dish best served cold."

Daming Chen (director of China's What Women Want) and Michael Shamberg (producer of Django Unchained and Get Shorty) are at the reigns of this US-China co-production.
