Hainan Airlines Hold Mid-Autumn Activities for Foreign Employees

On September 8, 2016, Hainan Airlines (HNA) held Mid-Autumn Activities titled “Full moon, full love” for the foreign employees in Haikou. Forty-one foreign staff from Hungary, South Korea, Romania, Italy, and nine other countries visited Hainan Airlines headquarter and attended the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival celebration activities.

Representatives from the flight, marketing, sales, and service departments extended warmly welcomes to all foreign staff from different part of the HNA business. They also expressed their gratefulness to the foreign employees for their great efforts in their jobs in the process of Hainan Airlines’ globalization.

In the morning, foreign employees visited the new HNA Plaza, and listened to HNA’s corporate culture lecture by instructor Mr Paul Johansen. Through this lecture they increased their understanding of HNA's entrepreneurial history and the development of Hainan Airlines.

In the latter part of the day, foreign employees enjoyed Mid-Autumn Festival theme activities in Xinguo Guest House. During the event, foreign employees dressed in traditional Chinese dress to show the Chinese etiquette, made mooncakes, participated in the bamboo dance and other Chinese folk games like kicking shuttlecocks, playing the drums and throwing a silk-made-ball, and more.

Gathering together for the full-moon and participating in a day of activities, employees from different countries and different working positions experienced this Chinese traditional festival, and gained a better understanding and cognition of HNA's company culture. They also expressed confidence in HNA business, and will work even harder in the process of HNA's internationalization to create a world-class aviation brand.
