Hot on the tail of yesterday’s 2023 Cheesy Pizza Cup announcement we have more good tidings for the capital’s pizza lovers: Cheesy Pizza Month 2023 is here!
So what is Cheesy Pizza Month? First and foremost it’s our attempt to get you out and about trying some of the best pizzas the city has to offer via a month of discounts and incentives. Much like the recently completed Juicy Burger Month, you’ll be getting special offers (for consumption in store or via delivery) from the participating pizza slingers around town.
We’ve got 15 pizza brands taking part in the month-long event, which will run from Jan 6 (today) all the way to Feb 13. During this time, you can visit the participating restaurants, get stamps in your Cheesy Pizza Cup passport, and win prizes.
What prizes, you ask? Over RMB 40,000 worth of them, including the grand prize that goes to the one who eats the most pizza: RMB 3000 in cash!

How to participate
In store dining*:
To start your adventure, go to any of the participating 2023 Cheesy Pizza Month restaurants and ask your server for your free official passport!
Delivery*:
On any delivery platform go to the notes section (备注 bèi zhù).
If you don’t have a passport yet, copy-paste the following

*Note: not all locations of all brands are participating.
Order any pizza from the participating restaurants and you’ll get a stamp/sticker. Order more than RMB 100 and you can get an extra sticker – collect up to four per brand for your passport:
Spend up to 100: One Sticker
Spend 101-200: Two Stickers
Spend 201-300: Three Stickers
Spend 301-400: Four Stickers
... and so on!
While you can only fit 4 stickers in your passport, you're welcome to spend more and share your stickers with your dining partners!
Every stamp/sticker you collect gets you a ticket to our final Lucky Draw. The more you get, the more chances to win!
Be one of the first 200 people to collect at least one sticker from all brands and you’ll automatically win free pizza vouchers worth RMB 100!
Whoever collects the MOST by the end of the promo will win our grand prize, worth RMB 3000! (In the case of a tie, all will be entered into a lucky draw for the prize.)
At the end of the month, after you've collected as many stamps as you can, take a photo with your passport and scan the QR code below to upload your results:

We’ve got 15 pizza brands spread across 18 venues in the capital taking part and they’ve each selected a participating pizza that has a special Cheesy Pizza Month deal. So let’s take a gander at just which of Beijing’s many great pizza joints are joining in on the fun.
Bottega (Jinshang)
Participating pizza: MONTANARA
Bottega have created a special pizza named MONTANARA. The pie has three different textures because its dough is first steamed, then deep fried, topped with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese and then finally baked in the pizza oven. Spoiler alert! This pizza is normally only available at Bottega’s recently opened Shanghai branch.

Brotzeit German Bier Restaurant
Participating pizza: Tom Yam Gong Pizza
Brotzeit are heating things up with their Thai style Tom Yam Gong Pizza. Topped with fresh shrimp, Thai style shrimp sauce, citronella with spicy southern ginger, and a slight touch of lime that brings out the intenseness of the cheese, it’s a real winter warmer dish.

COMMUNE RESERVE
Participating pizza: TARTUFATA PIZZA
This traditional 12 inch Neapolitan style pizza has a creamy bechamel sauce base topped with rich black truffle paste, mozzarella, mushrooms and fresh basil. The amount of truffle is balanced just right to lend the pizza a nice earthy bite.

Participating pizza: CALABRIAN SAUSAGE PIZZA
COMMUNE•X’s hand-rolled pizza base is smothered with San Marzano tomato sauce then covered with slices of Calabrian sausage, mozzarella cheese and mascarpone cheese, before being baked in the oven at high temperature. The sweet and sour sauce pairs perfectly with the rich flavor of the sausage slices, and the two types of cheese leave a creamy aftertaste. The different levels of flavor will have you wanting to eat slice after slice.

Forno (Taikooli)
Participating pizza: DIAVOLA
Forno are the only venue in Cheesy Pizza Month serving up Pizza in Pala, a Roman style rectangular shaped pizza. They are spicing things up with their DIAVOLA which sees a tomato sauce base topped with mozzarella, salame Felino, chilli flakes, basil and extra virgin olive oil.

Georgia's Feast
Participating pizza: Adjarian Khachapuri
Consisting of dough stuffed with cheese and egg, many consider khachapuri to be the precursor of pizza. Among the many types of khachapuri, the most classic is Adjaruli Khachapuri and Georgia’s Feast keep things traditional with their version. Their super soft dough made from Russian flour is stuffed with Sulguni cheese and a free range egg, before serving the cheese and egg are mixed together to create a creamy filling that melts in your mouth.

Participating pizza: BROOKLYN SUPREME
Great Leap #45 bring New York style pizza to the table with their BROOKLYN SUPREME. This pizza is 100 percent hand-tossed and topped their fresh in-house pizza sauce then smothered with Great Leap mixed cheese. Ground meat, authentic Italian sausage, and a variety of veggies and peppers are then added to create a topping that is pure perfection. GUNG HO! (Sanlitun and The Grand Summit)
Participating pizza: Lord of the Lambs and Black Truffle
GUNG HO! are offering a Half and Half pizza for the event. One side will feature their famous Lord of the Lambs, which sees roasted New Zealand lamb topped with grilled zucchini, rocket and daubs of mint tzatziki. The other side is reserved for their Black Truffle pie, a vegetarian pizza, that combines truffle sauce, mushrooms and truffle oil to create a topping that’s any mushroom lover’s dream.

Jing-A Taproom Longfusi
Participating pizza: Beijing Meatlover’s
East meets West with Jing-A’s Beijing Meatlover's Pizza. This pie sees their signature sourdough and Italian tomato sauce base combined with a range of Chinese flavors. The toppings include cured Guizhou sausage, Sichuan sausage, house-made Mala sausage, roasted cherry tomatoes, red onion, fermented green beans, chili flakes, and mozzarella.

Joe's Pizza
Participating pizza: Pepperoni (thin crust), Super Roni Sicilian (thick crust)
Having only opened last year, Joe’s is a relative newcomer to Beijing also slinging New York style pizza. Their Pepperoni pizza uses salty, oily and fragrant smoked Italian sausage mixed with a special tomato sauce and rich cheese to create a perfectly balanced pizza with a unique mild sourness. The melted cheese paired with the crispy pizza bottom brings pure happiness with every bite.
Along with their traditional Pepperoni, Joe's are also offering their Super Roni Sicilian, a Sicilian square pizza, a dense cheese bomb fully loaded with pepperoni that’s actually surprisingly light and airy with a similar texture to focaccia but with a crispy, crunchy bottom.

Pizzetta reinvents the style of traditional pizza and is inspired by aperitivo, aka Italy's version of happy hour. It’s neither a classic pizza nor a flat bread, but it's perfect for sharing over Spritzes or wine. La Platea suggests trying their Mushroom Ham Pizzetta as an intriguing alternative from a traditional pizza.

PYRO PIZZA (Wudaokou and Wukesong Huaxi Live)

Another US style Pizza joint, PYRO PIZZA’s NACHO BEEF is like what would happen if a pizza and a bowl of beef nachos had a baby. This pizza combines seasoned grilled beef with onion, jalapeños and olives and is then topped with tortilla chips, tomatoes and drizzled with sour cream.

Bringing a slice of Mexico to the table, Q MEX's Mexican Supreme pizza has a tomato sauce base topped with salami, homemade spicy beef chorizo, white mushrooms, diced bell peppers, red onion slices and mozzarella cheese. The Mexican Supreme pizza is available in their regular thick crust or thin tortilla crust.

Turkish Feast
Participating pizza: Beef & Cheese Pide
Often referred to as Turkish pizza, pide is a type of Turkish flatbread stuffed with a variety of toppings such as cheese, meat or vegetables. Turkish Feast’s Beef & Cheese Pide sees Australian beef mixed with mozzarella, tomato, pepper and fresh herbs to create the perfect meaty, cheesy combination.

Wobbit Bistro
Participating pizza: To Queen
Wobbit Bistro keep things simple with their To Queen, a classic Margherita pizza combining a homemade tomato base with mozzarella and fresh basil. These three ingredients correspond to the red, white and green of the Italian flag and the original Margherita pizza was named after Queen Margherita of Savoy, the first queen of Italy, hence Wobbit Bistro’s chosen name “To Queen”.
