All The Newbies Bringing Their Best to Juicy Burger Fest '23

The Beijinger’s annual Juicy Burger Fest, the one time of year when the capital’s burger lovers can release their inner kid in a candy shop and scarf down all the burgers they want, is just around the corner.

And this candy shop for burger fanatics is getting better this year thanks to a whole bunch of new burger joints taking part.

We’ve got 22 vendors who have never taken part in a previous Burger Fest joining us in 2023.

They are as follows: Lush, Dosh, Medi, Huzi, P.R.I.M.E, Malt Tiger, Goose Island, Gou Taproom, Restaurant - Zen, Burger Treasure, Tough Tongue, Bay Area Bar, and, a very recently opened newbie, Triple B 3B.

Others who are taking part in their first-ever Burger Fest are Burp Burger & Beer, and Argentine restaurant Malbec & Beef, though these two did participate in our Juicy Burger Month last year; and Grassroots, who will be bringing vegan options to the Fest.

There’s also 2022’s 8th best burger in Beijing, Wild Kite Brewing joining; and finally Circle Urban, Nashville, Morrow, and Vinn, who recently took part in Taco Fest. Rounding off the list of newbies is KFC, although an American fast food chain, we’ve always had a soft spot for their chicken sandwiches, plus they have burgers too, so why not?

As for returning places, 2023 Juicy Burger Cup champion Slowboat is dropping anchor at the Fest. They’ll be joined by 2nd place winner Home Plate BBQ, QMEX (#3), Jing-A (#5), Slider Nation (#6), Side Street (#12), Burge's Bistro & Bar, and Hyatt Regency – who slings some damn good Wagyu burgers.

Also returning this year after a long hiatus are Beersmith Gastropub (#4), Great Leap Brewing (#7), and legendary Shuangjing eatery Plan B.

The Beijinger's 2023 Juicy Burger Fest is happening on Friday, Jul 7 from 3pm-9pm and Saturday, Jul 8-Sunday, Jul 9 from 11am-9pm at Xidianjiyi FunsTown in Gaobeidian. Standard early bird tickets start at RMB 25/person and can be purchased by scanning the QR code in the poster.
