More High-Speed Trains Will Make Stops at Central Beijing Hubs: Starting from today (Jan 10), more high-speed trains will make stops at central Beijing stations before continuing on to other parts of the country, according to an announcement from China railway authorities.

These include G65 and G526, and G421 and G422, which travel from Beijing West to Wuhan and Beijing West to Nanning East respectively, will now depart from Beijing Station before passing through Beijing West. Other trains that will have more stops are G935 and G3694, which travel from Beijing Chaoyang to Harbin West and Dandong to Beijing Chaoyang, respectively. The former train will now start from Beijing West before passing through Beijing Chaoyang and Beijing stations, while the latter will now terminate at Beijing West.


Rossiya Airlines Resumes Flights From Regional Russian Airports to Beijing: As of late December 2023, Russia’s Rossiya Airlines has resumed services from regions of Russia to Daxing Airport, according to Aviation 24. Russian Aviation reports that the Aeroflot subsidiary will operate flights from Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, and Vladivostok to Beijing three times, four times, and five times per week, respectively.


China Southern Airlines to Start New Flights to Kazakhstan: China Southern will launch regular passenger services from Daxing to Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan, from Jan 25, reports Astana Times. The new flights come after a visa-free regime was established between Kazakhstan and China on Nov 10, 2023, and will be scheduled three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
