Busy Holiday: Stuff To Do Around Beijing Today, May 5
It's the last day of the May holiday, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. Today our focus lies around Shuangjing, with art in 22 Arts District, brunch, and other fun in the area as well as in the CBD.
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Beijing
First off, today marks Mexico's Cinco de Mayo celebrations, so if you're looking for something to do to celebrate today – or perhaps are looking for an excuse to gorge on even more tacos after last weekend's Taco Fest – then one place to do so is Las Musas, where they've got all-day-long drink specials: RMB 15 tequila shots and RMB 35 Classic Margaritas, plus their signature tacos, Mexican snacks, and their just-dropped Seasonal Margaritas for an all day Cinco de Mayo fiesta.

Finally, The Local is bringing back their annual Cinco de Mayo brunch! For RMB 288, guests can enjoy any brunch main plus free flow cocktails from an epic list. There will also be micheladas and mangonadas while supplies last. Check here for a full menu and details.

Brunch at Bollywood Tales or Plan B
Kick off the day with some food at Bollywood Tales or Plan B, which lie right in the heart of the 22 Arts District. Bollywood Tales for marsala chai and snacks fit for a light brunch – their Vada Pav Sandwiches (RMB 42) or Chicken Kathi Roll (RMB 48) are excellent choices. Plan B offers more Western fare. Burgers, tacos, wings ... some good poutine, as well.
