Tennis-Themed Fun, Kids Zone, Market Stalls & More at Taco Fest 

This year's Taco Fest is about more than just stuffing your face with as many tacos as possible. There also tons of great activities and market stalls to explore. From tennis-themed experiences to a dedicated Kids Zone to keep the little ones entertained, henna art and a range of market vendors, there's something for everyone to enjoy at the fest.

Tennis Activities

As this year's Taco Fest is taking place at the National Tennis Center, there are a number of exciting tennis activities happening both during the fest and over the May Holiday, so why not swing by and dive into a range of tennis experiences for all skill levels!

Tennis Matches

For tennis enthusiasts, there will be the National Tennis Center Member Invitational Tournament and the FILA KIDS Diamond Cup Youth Tennis Challenge happening over the holiday. Come to play or watch the matches. Check out the details below:

National Tennis AI Training Hub

Head to the National Tennis AI Training Hub to try out a virtual coach to help you quickly improve your skills. At the Training Hub they have:

  • Real-time feedback from AI coaches

Immersive Tennis Exhibition

Where did tennis originate? Who shaped its development in China? How did its popularity surge across the country? Learn all this and more at this immersive Tennis Exhibition.

Location: 6th Floor, Diamond Court, National Tennis Center (Take Elevator No. 2 at Gate 14)  


Tennis-Themed Installations 

There will be a range of tennis-themed attractions where you can snap some pics, including a giant tennis bubble machine, giant rackets, and other quirky installations!


China Open Swag Shop

At the China Open Swag Shop you can get limited-edition China Open merch with everything from  championship gear, mascot plushies, and more!

Tinker Garden

Tinker Garden in collaboration with jingkids has created a dedicated play area that kids will love. In the Kids Zone, they will be offering up a variety of fun activities to keep the little ones entertained, from hands-on sensory crafts and "magic potion" making to fun raffles and free play zones with developmental toys, ensuring children of all ages can immerse themselves in joyful learning experiences. With a blend of structured workshops and spontaneous exploration – including a blind-touch nature discovery game and a playful market offering face painting, balloons, and insect specimens – Tinker Garden creates a child-friendly oasis where education meets adventure, right in the heart of the festival.

Also, don't forget that children 1.4m and under get into the fest for completely free!


Golden Hour

Golden Hour will be bringing their collection of organic soy wax candles to the fest. Sozni

Sozni hails from the Kashmir region of Pakistan and is named after the intricate needlework used in local pashmina embroidery. At the event, they will showcase Kashmir pashmina shawls, which are protected by GI (geographical indication) certification. The patterns on these shawls are largely inspired by the local flora of Kashmir. In addition to the shawls, they will also present Persian carpets and other culturally rich products that blend diverse influences from various regions.


Shine Gogga 

Shine Gogga showcases Peruvian products at the festival. Peru's Amazon rainforest is not only a natural wonder but also a treasure trove of biodiversity, home to plants and animals that cannot be found anywhere else on Earth. It is filled with mysterious and beautiful creatures. Shine Gogga carefully selects butterflies from the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, preserving their beauty through the expert work of specimen preparation and exquisite framing, making their elegance a lasting adornment in people's lives. Shine Gogga will also be selling tui alpaca wool plush toys from Peru at the fest. Soft and comforting, they bring joy with every touch.

The Location

This year's festival will be taking place at the National Tennis Center West Square, which is located by the west side of the Olympic Forest Park. The venue is super easy to get to, situated right by Line 8's Lincuiqiao station's C2 south exit (林萃桥站 C2南), which is a mere 35 minutes by subway from Sanlitun.

The venue has ample open space to relax on, so why not bring chairs, picnic blankets, or perhaps even a tent so that you can make your own little base camp for the day? The location is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends to join in the fun as well.
