Jing-A Pizza Returns, New Burgers and Other Foodie News
From Jing-A's pizza making a return to bold new burgers, creative collabs and global flavors hitting the scene, there's plenty for foodies to get excited about in Beijing. Here's a quick roundup of what's new and delicious.

Jing-A Adds Three Pizzas and Burgers to the Menu
Jing-A recently updated their menu and pizza is back, baby! They've got three pizzas up for grabs, including the iconic Lao Gan Ma Luau (RMB 98), their fusion take on a Hawaiian pizza that combines pork, pineapple, mozzarella cheese and a Lao Gan Ma pizza sauce. The other two pizzas are a classic Margherita (RMB 88) and Truffle and Parma Ham (RMB 108). Unlike before, the pizzas aren't just limited to their Longfusi branch but are available at all branches, except their Ghost Street location.
It's not only pizza that Jing-A has added to the menu, though; they've also added three new burgers. Along with the Yunnan-Guizhou Sour Soup Flavor Wagyu Burger (RMB 88), which they launched at the Juicy Burger Fest, they've also added Elvis Molten Cheese Durian Wagyu Burger (RMB98) and the Explosive Truffle Mushroom King Wagyu Burger (RMB 88).

New Sichuan-Style Mapo Tofu Pizza at COMMUNE
COMMUNE announced yesterday that they're adding a few new items to their menu, including the Sichuan Style Mapo Tofu Pizza. This fiery fusion creation stuffs silken tofu into the base and tops it with a classic spicy and numbing mapo meat sauce. Other new additions are Truffle Gnocchi, Neapolitan Seafood Salad and Seafood Curry Spaghetti.

Shake Shack Launches Special Collab Burger
Shake Shack has dropped a new collab menu with streetwear icon NIGO, available for a limited time at select locations. The lineup includes Curry Cheese Fries (RMB 42), a refreshing Mango Pomelo Shake (RMB 46) and a Teriyaki Beef Burger (RMB 58). The burger features a house-made teriyaki sauce paired with pickled radish, onion and scallions, all layered over a juicy cheeseburger patty.

Slowboat's Seasonal Burger Series Vol. 3
In case you missed our last Week Ahead post, Slowboat's Seasonal Burger Series Vol. 3 is in full swing with the Tianjin Jianbing Burger available now until the end of August at all Slowboat locations in Beijing. A spin on the beloved breakfast food, the burger sees an all-beef patty in a buttery brioche bun and topped with Slowboat's signature Ayi-oli, crispy house-made guozi, jianbing sauce, a fried egg and fresh scallions.

New Burger and Breakfast Dishes at The Cheesecake Factory
A little while ago, The Cheesecake Factory added the new Bistro Burger to the menu. Although it does look more like a sandwich, it has a burger-inspired filling made up of thick-cut bacon, steak sauce and caramelized onions, all finished with a smear of garlic mayonnaise. They've also added a few new breakfast items to the menu, such as a Brioche Breakfast Sandwich, Breakfast Burrito and Jambalaya Hash & Eggs.

Special Thai Buffet at the Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing
Market Cafe at the Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing has just launched the A Journey of Taste Thailand special buffet menu, which will run until Aug 10. Guest chef Sethasak Anavachasuk from the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit has curated a special array of authentic Thai dishes to enjoy, including Thai Betel Leaf Wrap, Grilled Curry Fish Cake Skewer, Tom Yum Soup, Prawn Curry and Mango Sticky Rice.
