Beijing's social calendar is heating up this fall with not one but three high-profile balls returning to the city. From the iconic Great Wall setting of AustCham's Ball on the Wall to the elegant charm of the long-running British Ball and the vibrant energy of the Mexican Ball's Día de Muertos celebration, there's something for everyone who enjoys fine dining, dancing and dressing to the nines. Whether you're looking to support a good cause, network with the city's international crowd or just enjoy a memorable night out, these upcoming events are sure to deliver.
AustCham's Ball on the Wall 2025
AustCham China's iconic Ball on the Wall will be returning on Sat, Sep 6, from 5.30pm until late, offering an unforgettable evening atop the Great Wall of China. Taking place at the Yongfeng Building, Juyong Pass Great Wall, guests will enjoy premium wines, a curated gourmet menu, and the opportunity to take part in a charity auction, which last year raised RMB 284,000 for children with cerebral palsy.
Ball on the Wall will be taking place on Sat, Sep 6, from 5.30pm until late. Individual tickets are RMB 3,000, or RMB 30,000 for tables of ten. There are also limited hotel packages available at The Commune for RMB 1,300 per night for a two-person room. The British Ball 2025
The British Ball will be returning to Beijing for its 22nd year on Sat, Oct 25, from 6.30pm to 4am. As usual, it will be taking place at the Kerry Hotel, and the event will feature a cocktail reception, four-course dinner, all-night open bar, live music, raffles, a silent auction, photobooth fun and a Survivors' Breakfast to round off the night. Guests are invited to don black tie, ball gowns or themed attire; the theme will be revealed later this summer, with prizes for best-dressed. All proceeds will go to support charitable causes across China.
The British Ball will be taking place on Sat, Oct 25, from 6.30pm to 4am. Individual tickets are RMB 1,700, a corporate table for ten is RMB 18,500 and a standard table for ten is RMB 15,000. You can read more about the British Ball here, and tickets can be purchased by scanning the QR code below.
Day of the Dead Mexican Ball
The Mexican Ball returns to Beijing on Sat, Nov 1, with a spectacular Día de Muertos celebration like no other. Now in its third edition, this year's ball promises even more dazzling performances, rich Mexican traditions and vibrant community spirit.
