I went here with 4 of my friends and my girlfriend on New Years eve. They wanted 300 rmb per person just to get inside. Before we paid the guy at the door said in English there is food availible inside included in the price. There was not...
When we wanted our Money back he started insulting us and swearing about our mothers in Chinese. As a local musician this place will never see me again. Worst service ever and just a cash grab. I really wanted to support the place on there last open day on new years eve. But the way we were treated was horrible!! I do not recommend this place to anyone if they are looking for a good time out with friends.
By the way, I am starting to get gently triggered by the coded messages in your save `codes'. I think you need you need a moderator to analyse this issue. I volunteer for the job.
I mean latest is `WEVSPS5P' . Your final P is sounding a little exosexualaticismic to my liking. Cut it out.
How'n the hella gonna have biathlon if'n nobody's got no guns like they all does in my home town of South Montanica? is it like skiing and throwing snowballs? Fill me in.
I am especialy impressed that you managed a shot of the famous Guido Mancini (in lead photo, wearing grey capuchin) scrying Thucydides, phone wise of course (is there any other way to read?) as Hop Sing doled the goods. Big white hat, white suite of not gaberdine. Sheer genius.
I don't care a funk about any of the content of this (written content that is), but the photographer is a genius. (of sorts) Sorts not necessarily benevolent, but certainly humourous.

Apropos of nothing save the word gem in title, allow me to annonce that I , yes I, have eviscerated, yes EVISCERATED, from yonny depsths of dear inland slime pond the guts of yon slimeylandlaocked slimey pond the encrusted pearl of slimy greatest worth. I think Jaysus sayin somtin bout this.
Now therein I found these words of wisdom, scribed obviously by a foreign and ancietnt had ( I think probably Ozymandius's younger sister) the following pearl:
" A man without a woman is like a bike with one pedal. You can still ride it, but it ain't much fun" Now, I read this pearl inscribed wisdom and had an instant revulsion at its sexist and cis-normal bias. (should there be a hyphen?) I have been trying to re-salubrate it and will get back to you when there is a culturally acceptible revision.
"Surprisingly, the Chinese weren't the only ones who believed there was a rabbit on the Moon, with the Aztecs, all the way across the Pacific, sharing a similar legend."
I don't know if you actually meant the Aztecs, (rather than the Mayans) but there have been more than one historian, archeologist, ethnologist, linguist etc to see an early Chinese influence on the Mayans, most clearly in many similarities between Chinese/Mayan calendars, with eg. the heavenly stems and the earthly branches, and animals associated with them, as well as the bunny in the moon stuff. I once read a fairly extensive treatise on this, which also included similarity in motifs in artwork; also metallurgy. I can't seem to find exactly what I know I read before, owing to the dumbing down of search engine searchs, owing to the overabundance of social media garbage that interposes between information and pages of Twitter garbage. Once was a time when you could actually find important information on the internet.
Or is this yet another chapter in the ongoing series of me incorrectly superimposing a linguistic structure from my mother tongue onto Chinese? *smile*
Yep that's it.
Big things to smaller things.
`Subway' is a bigger thing than `Shunyi' which is a circumscribed area, which is bigger than a `station' located within that area. Very logical once you get used to it.
Actually for me it's not the “站” at the end of the station names that draws my attention; it's the “地铁” at the beginning! We see in the photo accompanying the article: “地铁顺义站”. Do we really need the two characters "地铁“ at the beginning of the name? It's the name of the particular station (顺义) that is the most important bit of information, so it should be first. Wouldn't "顺义地铁站" be more logical and ever-so-slightly-more practical?
