Spice Things Up: Best Mexican in Beijing

We're seeing a trend appearing on the Beijing food scene, as more and more people forgo that unique numbness of mala in favor for the harder-hitting chili pepper punches at the heart of Mexican cuisine. Mexico is renowned for many outstanding tastes, including that party-starting liquid – tequila (responsible for more than a few late-night mad decisions), and has always been a favorite go-to for adventurous mouths. In our Eleventh Annual Reader Restaurant Awards we see the taste of Mexico is still well alive and spicing things up in the stomachs of Beijing.

Below are this year's winners for authentic Mexican flavored food fiestas:

Oh wheel of Fortuna! Why have you forsaken our spelling so? Let's go with the pontification rationalisation.

Managing Editor, the Beijinger

Under the photo's caption "instad" should read "instead", unless, however, that was a reference to the spanish pronunciation of "instead", of which, I am extremly offended, yet at the same time highly entertained, due to a Spaniards et al South American's intended pronunciation or there lack of any stressing of the combinatory syllabyl "ead". If your website continues to pontificate (to much of your ignorant readership) such exceptionally hidden innuendo's, then I look foward to any future publications, or if this has been a complete misunderstanding, ignore the above insight.

Your's truly,

Ignatius J. Reilly
