EAT: Peruvian Food and an Ice Cream World Champion

It's been a relatively quiet week in dining, with most places already gearing up for Thanksgiving and Christmas events.

Over at Kerry's Kitchen, they're putting off the festive season for a while to make way for a Peruvian food festival. They have teamed up with the Peruvian embassy to bring renowned chef Marco Quispe from Maido Restaurant in Peru to Beijing to showcase the exciting, multicultural dishes that define the country's culinary heritage. Read more on the blog about the kind of dishes on offer, which are available as a weekday lunch buffet (RMB 238+), a three course set dinner (RMB 288+), and a weekend brunch (RMB 388+).

Elsewhere, catch the last of TRB's international chef's in 2014, with Ice Cream World Champion Gérard Taurin making an appearance in the kitchen. Mr. Taurin is currently heading up a project that traces the roots of ice cream to China. Read more about that here
