Stretch Your Stomach at the Second Hutong Food Week Across 18 Restaurants and Bars, Apr 1-9

Unlucky enough to miss the first Hutong Food Week late last year? Well, the organizers, the team behind hutong restaurant Fu Tapas & Wine, have been quick to give you a second chance.

Kicking off this Saturday (Apr 1), the Second Hutong Food Week will last nine days in total, and encompasses 20 culinary varieties from 18 selected restaurants and bars, with a special deal to be had at each venue. There are four parts to the event this time around: a food crawl, drink crawl, collaboration event, and a food court party to round it all off.

The 18 selected restaurants and bars include:

For the food and drink crawls, you can head to the participating venues and pick up a paper menu whereby each item you buy is stamped off. The more dishes you finish on the menu, the more privileges you will have at the end food court party. See a full list of deals from the various venues here.

Some of the best deals that we can spot off the bat are: get a Hatchery Gatsby burger for RMB 45 (down from RMB 60), salmon sashimi from Takaya for RMB 19 (down from RMB 50), a RMB 30 Cuban sandwich from Más (down from RMB 55), as well as a RMB 35 Diaoyu Long Island Iced Tea (down from RMB 65) also from Más, buy-one-get-one-free RMB 45 Jing-A beers at White Tiger Village, and buy-one-get-one-free beers of Monkey's Fist at Slow Boat's Taproom.

Said food court party will take place at Zarah on April 9, 2pm. All of the restaurants and bars participating in Hutong Food Week will bring their wares, and your menu will be your free pass for attendance to the event. Once in, you'll be able to redeem food and drinks depending on how many gourmet stamps you were able to accrue over the previous week.

More information about the event will be available soon, but in the meantime if you have any questions contact info@hutongfoodweek.com.
