Sep 26: Lost Puppies 2nd Birthday BBQ Party

Lost Puppies is turning two and to celebrate how far they've come (they've rescued and found homes for more than 200 dogs), they've organized a little (huge) BBQ party to thank all of the people that made it possible for them to be standing where they are as a community and organization. Sep 26: Obsessions Vol. 4

The audiophiles behind Beijing's gregarious music-sharing community, Obsessions, are back at Aotu after a long summer (and COVID) hiatus, ready to tickle your earholes with some of the most obscure and mindbending sounds out there. Part DJ set, part music lecture, Obsessions is a rare opportunity for both the presenter and the audience to get lost in the hinterlands of auditory splendor. For the fourth installment, expect a deep dive into the nature of "the compilation," an investigation of hauntology's lost sonic futures, and an international journey to the remote corners of non-English darkwave. Free. 9pm.
