EMA Salsa
If you were at our Taco Fest this past weekend, then you'll already be familiar with EMA Salsa. Led by Ema, an ambassador of Latin American cultural communication with 21 years of experience in music and dance, EMA Salsa regularly hosts classes, flash mobs and other exciting events in Beijing. EMA Salsa specializes in a range of Latin American dances, including Cuban salsa, bachata, merengue, cha-cha-cha, reggaetón, samba, mambo, rumba, guaguancó and more. AfroPulzDance International African Dance Camp
Next week, from May 13 to 14, AfroPulzDance will be bringing the spirit of African dance to Beijing! This two-day dance camp at IT Dance Studio offers a rare chance to learn from seven top African dance instructors, each with millions of social media followers and deep expertise in their styles. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, the camp offers you the chance to explore seven dynamic dance styles, enjoy authentic African cuisine, and connect with a global community of dance lovers.
The camp takes place from 2pm to 11.30pm each day (May 13-14) and you can see the full schedule for each day in the poster above. You can also read more about the event here. Single-day tickets are RMB 1,199, and two-day tickets are RMB 1,999. Tickets can be purchased by scanning the QR code below.
Sazon Cuban Dance School
Another familiar face from our festivals is Sazon Cuban Dance School. Founded in 2016, they offer a dynamic range of classes including salsa, rumba, Cuban folk dance, cha-cha, son, bachata and more. They also offer a number of lady-specific classes if you'd prefer a female-only environment. Each class is numbered by skill level, going from 0 (no experience required) up to 3, so whether you're just starting out or already an experienced dancer, there's a class tailored to match your skill level and help you grow.

Swing Beijing
Founded in 2003 by American dancer Adam Lee, Swing Beijing holds the title of China’s first swing dance organization. Rather than being a dance studio itself, Swing Beijing is a platform for all things swing dance, bringing together dancers and organizers from across the capital. From weekly classes to lively social dances and special events, the community is dedicated to keeping the spirit of swing alive in Beijing. Genius Dance Lab
Genius Dance Lab offers a versatile mix of dance lessons, including jazz, hip hop, breakdancing, and – their standout specialty – locking, a high-energy funk style rooted in hip-hop culture. Their classes are all about expression and fun, creating a welcoming, dance-your-heart-out atmosphere where everyone feels encouraged to move freely with the beat. Genius Dance Lab also offers kid-focused programs designed to nurture young dancers' creativity and confidence from an early age. Salsa 5 Club
With over 20 years of experience, Salsa 5 Club specializes in salsa, bachata, cha-cha-cha, and kizomba. Their team of five professional instructors offers weekly group classes for all levels – from total beginners to advanced dancers – delivering fun, interactive sessions that help you build confidence and connect with others on the dance floor.

TIANAI Dance
If you're curious about experiencing Chinese classical dance, then TIANAI Dance is the place for you. They specialize in teaching graceful yet powerful movements drawn from Chinese folk dance, traditional opera, and martial arts.
