Christmas is fast approaching, and there is an array of Christmas markets happening across Beijing in the coming weeks. Here, we've picked out some Christmas markets to save the date for, and we'll be sure to bring you any news of other markets in the future once they are announced.
Makers Market at Beersmith
This Sunday (Nov 16) kicks off the Christmas market season, with the Makers Market coming to Beersmith. The market runs from noon until 6pm, and you'll find small-time creators from across Beijing and beyond selling their wares here. Entry to the market is free.

Village de Noël Christmas Market at Flo
The annual French-themed Village de Noël Christmas Market at Maison FLO returns to Beijing on Nov 22 and then takes place every weekend from 11am to 7pm until Dec 21. The market has everything from food and drink to handicrafts, plus live entertainment and activities, the latter two of which you can see more about in the poster below. Early bird tickets (RMB 19.9/person) are on sale now until Nov 15. After that, regular tickets (RMB 29.9/person) go on sale. WAB Winter Market
The Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) will be hosting their Winter Market on Sat, Nov 22, from 10am to 3pm at WAB Elementary School. You can expect a cozy market filled with handcrafted jewelry, eco-friendly goods, and art by local creators, along with unique holiday gifts. There will also be plenty of home-cooked dishes from around the world to enjoy. There will also be exciting games and prizes for kids, plus the Winter Market Raffle, with over RMB 300,000 worth of prizes donated by community sponsors. Entry to the market is free.

German Christmas Charity Bazaar
The German Christmas Charity Bazaar will be taking place on Nov 29 from 1pm to 4pm and 5pm to 9pm and on Nov 30 from 11am to 2pm and 3pm to 6pm. You can expect plenty of traditional German treats like Glühwein, Currywurst, Leberkäse, iced gingerbread cookies and handcrafted gifts. Tickets are RMB 140/adult and RMB 20/child and will go on sale on Nov 18 at noon. They normally sell out super-fast, so it's best to follow the German Charity Christmas Bazaar's official WeChat (Deutscher Charitybasar) to make sure you don't miss out! BSB Shunyi Winter Fair & German Market
The British School of Beijing (BSB) will have their Winter Fair and German Market on Sat, Dec 6, from 3pm to 7pm at their Shunyi campus. The family-friendly event recreates the cozy charm of a traditional German Christmas market, complete with wooden huts, handcrafted gifts, hot food, fresh waffles, rich hot chocolate and mulled wine. Throughout the day, there will also be festive student performances, the lighting of the Christmas tree, and fun games for kids, plus the opportunity to meet Santa himself. BSB Sanlitun Christmas Cracker
For those who don't live in Shunyi, The British School of Beijing will also be putting on their BSB Christmas Cracker at their Sanlitun campus on Sat, Dec 6, from 10am to 2pm. It will be the perfect market for families with children, and you can expect all sorts of games, a raffle, baked goods and more on offer throughout the event. Entry to the market is free.

British Christmas Market
The British Christmas Market will be taking place on Sat, Dec 6, at the British Ambassador's Residence. Jointly organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in China and the British Embassy in Beijing, the market captures the cozy charm of a traditional British Christmas with over 50 vendors offering mulled wine, ginger beer, handicrafts, Christmas gifts, festive decorations and more. Exact timings for the market are yet to be announced, and tickets aren't yet on sale. When tickets are available, they normally sell out pretty quickly, so be sure to follow the British Chamber of Commerce's official WeChat account (BritChamCN) for the latest news.

Bonus: Music, Munchies & More Market
Finally, this one isn't a Christmas market, but we thought we'd include it if you're looking for something to do this weekend. The Music, Munchies & More Market will be happening this Saturday (Nov 15) at The Factory from 1pm to 7pm. They'll have live DJs playing autumn vibe tunes, a range of plant-based food, a pet adoption event to support Layer of Love, plus arts, crafts and handmade goods for sale. Entry to the market is free.
