St. Patrick's Events Plus Irish Ball Final Tickets

It's not long until St. Patrick's Day (Mar 17) and there are plenty of St. Paddy's happenings across Beijing starting this weekend and beyond. From parties to drink deals, Irish-themed menus and plenty of Guinness, it's your chance to to throw on something green, down a few pints and have a craic-ing good time.

Speaking of Irish shenanigans, Saturday next week (Mar 21) is the 31st Beijing Irish Ball and at the end of this post we've got the details on how you can snag one of the few remaining tickets for that as well. 

Paddy O'Shea's St. Patrick's Day Celebrations

In their own words, it's the "most important time of the year for Paddy's", so true to form, Paddy O'Shea's will be kicking off St. Patrick's Day early with celebrations starting tomorrow (Mar 14) and running until Mar 17. You can expect plenty of Guinness, maybe some green beer and an array of other specials. Throughout the weekend, they'll also be showing the Six Nations matches live for those who want to catch some rugby.

Spuds' Saint Patrick's Day Party

Spuds Irish Bar will be throwing a Saint Patrick's Day Party on Saturday (Mar 14) from 3pm. To start things off, they'll have a buy one get one free deal on selected drinks from 3pm-6pm, then they'll have live music from 6pm. Finally, at 10pm they'll be screening the Ireland vs. Scotland Six Nations game live.

Beersmith's St. Patrick's Day Deals

To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, Beersmith will be offering an exclusive Irish-themed menu from Mar 16 to 20. The menu will feature dishes like Lamb Stew (RMB 128), a Corned Beef Sandwich (RMB 88) and an Irish Whiskey Burger (RMB 98). For drinks, there will be the Shamrock Sour (RMB 78), Irish Slammer (RMB 78) and Irish Flag (RMB 58). You can see the food and drinks menu below for full details. Also on Mar 17, their house band SoulShake will also put on a special performance with some high-energy tunes.

The Local St. Patrick's Day Celebrations

The Local is starting their St. Patrick's Day celebrations super early, with the festivities kicking off today (Mar 13) and running until Mar 17. They'll have a range of drinks specials running all day, including Green Beer (RMB 35), Guinness (RMB 55) and an Irish Slammer (RMB 65), plus specials on shots of Jameson and Baileys. Timekeepers St. Patrick's Day Party

Timekeepers will be throwing a St. Patrick's Day Party on Saturday (Mar 14) from 9pm. In true Irish fashion, it will be all about the Guinness and having a craic-ing good time. They'll have a range of games like "Split the G" for a free Guinness, other challenges where you can win some Guinness or free Timekeepers merch, and a game where, if you find a gold coin you get a free shot. They'll also have PADDY O'DJ spinning some Irish tunes all night long. You're encouraged to come in your best leprechaun attire, favorite green clothes, or whatever you fancy!

Eudora Station St. Patrick's Day Party 

Eudora Station is keeping to tradition, throwing their party on actual St. Patrick's Day, Mar 17. To celebrate, they've got a few different deals for guests to enjoy. Firstly, if you wear green, you can get a free Green Beer or Jameson Shot. Then they'll also have special St Patrick's Day dishes and festive cocktails, plus Guinness will be on offer for buy two get one free.

Centro's St. Patrick's Night

Centro at the Kerry Hotel is putting on a themed St. Patrick's Night on Mar 17 from 9pm. For RMB 308/per person, guests can enjoy a three-hour themed snack buffet plus all you can drink draught Guinness and Irish whiskey. They'll also have a live band and a dance performance. INN St. Patrick's Day Coffee Morning

For those looking for a more family-friendly way to celebrate St Patrick's Day, INN will be hosting St. Patrick's Day Coffee Morning at Panorama on Mar 17 at 10am. Whether you're a newcomer, returnee or long-term Beijing resident, everyone is welcome to join. Attendance for the event is free, and INN guests get to enjoy a 10 percent discount on Panorama's new breakfast menu. 31st Beijing Irish Ball

Lastly, if you want to continue the Irish festivities beyond St. Patrick's Day, the 31st Beijing Irish Ball will be taking place on Sat, Mar 21, from 6pm at the Kempinski Hotel. This year's theme is " Celtic Myths & Legends" and the ball promises to ben evening full of Irish-inspired food, drinks and entertainment. 

Guests can expect themed bar stations including Guinness, premium whiskey, fine gin, Aperol and Negroni bars, plus a full Irish bar, as well as gourmet live stations serving Irish oysters, Iberico ham and canapés. The ball also includes a five-course dinner with wine pairings as well as live music, dancers, a lucky draw, a live band and a DJ to keep the celebrations going late. There are only a few tables and single tickets left, so you'd better be quick if you want to snag one!

The 31st Irish Ball will be taking place at the Kempinski Hotel from 6pm on Mar 21. Table Tickets (ten people) are RMB 16,000 and Single Tickets are RMB 1,700. You can scan the QR code in the poster above to read more details and purchase tickets.
