Where To Have a Craic-ing Good Time for St. Paddy's Day
St. Patrick's Day (Mar 17) is just around the corner, and this year, it falls on a Monday. Now, let's be real, no one really wants to get sh*t-faced on a Monday – that is not a productive way to start your week! Well, most places in Beijing agree with this sentiment and have opted to start their St Patrick's Day celebrations this weekend, instead. So, here are a few spots around the capital where you can throw on something green, down a few pints and have yourself a craic-ing good time all in the name of St. Paddy.
St. Patrick's Weekend at Paddy O'Shea's
Irish bar Paddy's has been celebrating St. Patrick's Day all week long and will be continuing the festivities into the weekend. They'll be having a Friday party where you can expect plenty of Guinness and maybe some green beer as well. On Saturday, the Leprecon bar crawl (see more details further on) will be making an appearance, and they'll also be showing Ireland’s last Six Nations Game against Italy. Then, on Sunday there will be a live Irish dance performance at 5pm and at 6.30pm plus the Celtic vs. Rangers game will be screened.

Saint Patrick's Day Party at Spuds
Spuds Irish Bar will be having a Saint Patrick's Day Party on Saturday from 3pm. They will have live music from David and Jerome, raffles throughout the day, special Irish Chicken Fillet Rolls and more fun! They'll also be showing the Ireland vs. Italy Six Nations Game live from 10.15pm.

Leprecon Bar Crawl 2025
The annual Leprecon Bar Crawl will be taking place on Saturday from 1pm, starting at The Factory. The crawl will also be making stops at Side Street, Spuds and Paddy's with drinks specials for participants and some games along the way. Beersmith will be throwing a St. Patrick’s Day bash from Mar 15 to 17 with an exclusive Irish menu and Irish-themed drinks. Foodwise, they'll have things like Lucky Lamb Stew, Shepherd’s Pie, Lucky Clover Curry Chicken, Salmon Pesto Pasta and a Fairyland Pistachio Waffle. For drinks, there will be the Irish Flag, Irish Bomb, and The Wizard of Oz.

St. Patrick's Day Brunch at the Regent
If you're looking to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a touch of class, then the Regent is doing a special St. Patrick's Day Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 4.30pm. Special Irish Beer Launch at Slowboat
To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Slowboat will be launching their special The Irishman Stout on Mar 17 across all their locations. With 4.8 percent ABV, this jet-black stout is crafted with roasted malt and is packed with notes of chocolate and raisins, balanced by a clean, refreshing finish. The beer will also be on offer for the happy hour price of RMB 30 all day long.
St. Patrick's Day Food and Drink Specials at The Factory
The Factory will be putting on a weekend of Irish specials from Friday to Sunday in honor of St Patrick's Day. They will have their special Chinness (Chinese Guiness) brewed in collaboration with Oak & Iron Craft Beer on tap, in-house Guinness Pies and homemade Guinness Ice Cream. In addition, they'll also have St. Patrick's Day shots and other specials like a free scoop of Guinness ice cream when you order a pie or Chinness.

St Patrick's Day Party at Timekeepers
Timekeepers will be throwing a St. Patrick's Day Party on Saturday from 8pm. In true Irish fashion, it will be all about the Guinness with games like "Split the G and Win a Free Guinness," other challenges where you can win Guinness or some free Timekeepers merch, and a game where if you find a gold coin you get a free shot. They'll also be blasting Irish tunes all night long, and you're encouraged to come in your best leprechaun attire, favorite green clothes or whatever you fancy!

The Local will be running their St. Patrick's Day celebrations from today until Mar 17.
