Bookings for Restaurant Week Spring 2026 Are Now Open
Restaurant Week is back with its first edition for 2026! For those not in the know, Restaurant Week is a biannual event put on by Dining City that sees numerous restaurants across Beijing and other cities across China offering up delectable set menus at amazingly discounted prices.
Bookings are now open for the Spring 2026 edition, which will run from Mar 26 until Apr 26, and yes, we know that's actually a month, not a week, but hey, you won't hear us complaining about having longer to enjoy the deals!
This time around, they've got 175 restaurants/restaurant branches participating, offering exclusive menus at special fixed prices, with four price categories to choose from:
- Elite: Price determined by restaurants
- Category A: RMB 148 for lunch and RMB 298 for dinner
- Category B: RMB 118 for lunch and RMB 198 for dinner
- Category C: RMB 78 for lunch and RMB 118 for dinner

These promotional prices allow you to dine in some of the top restaurants in the city, which otherwise can be quite expensive. You can filter restaurants through a variety of categories, such as "Fine Dining," "New Joiners" or "Best Value," or filter results by a specific cuisine or price category.
Included in this year's participating restaurants are eight "Michelin Star or Black Pearl Awarded" restaurants, so it's a great opportunity to try one of these for a discounted price! They've also got an impressive 37 "New Joiners," which are eateries joining Restaurant Week for the first time.
To give you a taste of what's in store for Restaurant Week Spring 2026, we've picked out a personal recommendation for each of the event's price categories.
Category C: uh-huh

We were delighted when wine bistro and fusion food specialists uh-huh managed to escape near closure last year and remain open. For Restaurant Week, they're offering lunch sets for one person, which include a sandwich and side salad plus tea; as well as Category C dinner sharing set for two* which includes two appetizers, a pasta dish and a main.

On the lunch menu they've got sandwiches like Shredded Chicken, Pesto and Yunnan Chili; and Mixed Mushrooms, Three Cheeses and Toasted Chilli. While the dinner menu has dishes such as Xinjiang Tomato Roasted Pepper Bacon Pasta and Braised Lamb Leg with Lotus Root.
*Sharing sets for two are priced by adding together the selected Category's price per person. For example, this Category C dinner sharing set for two would be RMB 236 altogether (RMB 118/person).

Category B: Panorama

We have long been fans of casual, French dining restaurant Panorama and their delectable French eats. They're one of the "New Joiners" for Restaurant Week and will have lunch and dinner sets for one available, both include a starter, main, dessert and drink.

The lunch menu has options like two of their signature crêpes: the Captain, stuffed with salmon, red onion, dill, capers and cream; and the Crepanini, filled with bacon, mushroom, cream, cheese and egg. The dinner menu has some classic French dishes such as Beef Burgundy and Mussels.

Category A: Turkish Feast Huamao

All of Turkish Feast's restaurants are participating in Restaurant Week, however we chose to pick out their Huamao branch because its cozy terrace area makes it a perfect spot to enjoy the warm spring weather. Here they're offering lunch sets for one with a starter and soup, hot dish and mini pide or dessert; and a dinner set for one with a starter and soup, hot appetizer, hot dish, dessert and drink. Both menus have plenty of options to choose from, such as Traditional Hummus, Turkish Babaganoush, Chicken Kebab, Azerbaijani Shakh Plov with Lamb Tenderloin and more.

Elite: Café Zi

Located in the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Café Zi also has a lovely terrace and boasts some of the best views in Beijing, looking out over the Forbidden City. They specialize in meticulously curated Cantonese cuisine made with seasonal ingredients. For Restaurant Week their lunch menu is RMB 308 per person and the dinner menu is RMB 488 per person. Both include an assortment of appetizers, a soup, hot dishes, a staple dish and dessert.

A wide range of dishes are on offer in the sets with smaller dishes like Aged Vinegar Marinated Eggplant, and Yellow Clams in Ginger-Scallion Oil, as well as bigger dishes such as Guizhou-Style Steamed Peony Shrimp Balls in Lobster Broth, and Steamed Yellow Croaker with Spring Bamboo Shoots and Preserved Snow Vegetable.
