It was a nice tourist trap.

It was nowhere near as touristy before they put in that new road, also there is a semi-permanent traffic jam there now. WTF is with that?

Tourist trap or not there used to be some worthwhile places to visit.
Those places have mostly been driven away by greedy landlords.

As The Kro Pies
(ok maybe not that last one)

Kro's Komeback is pretty good

We've since been notified that the legal battle over the "Kro's Nest" name is still ongoing - however Olaf Kro Kristoffer's new restaurant is definitely coming as reported above.

how should we understand these figures? what a pity for our planet earth! Beijing the "soul" is becoming the biggest parking or "trash" in the world!
3rd ring, 4th, 5th, 6th, 100th ring and counting ...

what is even more sarcastic is to see those Ferraris, Lombos, Bentleys etc driving at an average speed of 15 km/hr!!!

China is embracing superlatives : the MOST here, the BIGGEST there, the LARGEST etc.
For what? What is the point? How is this making us living better?
I saw once Beijingers poor and happy ... they are now rich and yet stressed and miserable.
