Live from Beijing, It's Saturday Night! Sohu, Lorne Michaels to Produce Chinese version of SNL

This sounds like a recipe for the opposite of success. 

China portal Sohu.com, which already streams American television institution Saturday Night Live via its popular video site, will produce its own version of the show with SNL producer Lorne Michaels. That's something that wasn't included in the 40th anniversary episode.

We went to try Bianyifang, a laozihao, or time-honoured brand, that serves up some mean duck, and has been doing so since 1416. Hence the impressive time-honored brand label. EAT: Pop Up Arepera at 京A and Chinese Wines at TRB

For one night only this Thursday March 5, Mosto's chef Daniel Urdaneta will be taking over the kitchen at 京A for "The Arepera", a very special pop-up featuring South America's best drunk food, arepas. These corn/maize flour buns (think of them as a Latin roujiamo) are popular throughout Venezuela and Colombia, where they come with a variety of meat and vegetable fillings.

Finally! A press release from Marks & Spencer discusses their move into “greater China” including cities like Beijing and Guangzhou from 2015 and 2016. Although we were a bit offended by the fact that they have labeled the capital city “greater” China, we would love it if Marks & Spencer actually opened here.
