The Beijinger 2009 Reader Restaurant Awards - Voting Closes Today

Newcomers Maison Boulud, Mosto, China Grill, Park Hyatt, Element Fresh and Sureno are among the top nominees in The Beijinger's 6th Annual Restaurant Awards. Also among the top nominees are local favorites Chef Too, SALT, Dali Courtyard and Alameda, each of which were named in 5 categories. Reflecting the past year of Olympic growth in the capital, this year’s survey has an astounding 200+ nominees in 35 voting categories, with over 30 restaurants established in 2008 appearing on the list.

Alongside Chinese and foreign cuisine classics such as Best Beijing Duck and Best French are several newly competitive categories, demonstrating the trends that have flowered in Beijing over the past year: Best Burger, Best Vietnamese, Best Sandwiches and Best Mexican.
