the Beijinger Reborn: New Issue, New Look

They say that a change is as good as a rest. We asked the powers that be if we could opt for the rest. They said that it was time for change. And as a magazine that has lived through various incarnations over the past eight years and counting, it was indeed time for a change.

The eagle-eyed among you may have already noticed that things are a bit different on the website and the pages of this month’s Beijinger. That, my friends, is the hard work of everyone at True Run Towers. We’ve radically redesigned the Beijinger in an effort to give you even more of what you want. So what exactly have we done? Well, the biggest departure from last month is that we’ve moved all of the event listings and venue directories to the back of the mag. That’s one spot to find just about everything that’s going on this month, be it knitting, networking or nightlife.

If that wasn’t enough for you, then we’ve also jam-packed the new-look, editorially heavy front half of the magazine with more content than before. It might still be a free magazine, but it’s officially even better value.

The last – and I’d say most important – change is that we’ve now got more free stuff for you. There are more giveaways throughout the mag, so keep your eyes peeled for competitions and deals.

So there it is. We hope you like it. If you don’t, then feel free to e-mail me at editor@thebeijinger.com.

Oh yeah, before I forget. This month’s Cover Feature is a guide to the online wonder that is Taoabao. I’d recommend it; it’s where I got these sleeping pills …

I see you've gone for the little seen half naked lady on the cover option.

Looks like an Ikea catalogue imho.

I do agree with vmomo.
apart for the logo that's quite cool.
and apart of the fact he/she stole my name...
the illustration covers used to make it an icon standing out from the other magazines
