The Final Four: Who Will Win The Beijinger Burger Cup Semi-Finals? You Decide

The results from the quarter-final are in and counted so The Beijinger Burger Cup is now down to the final four. So far 28 burgers have met their match and only this soon-to-be-revealed quartet remain in with a chance of winning the coveted Golden Burger trophy. Read on for the winners and losers from the last round, in what proved to be the closest races yet, and remember that voting for the semi-final ends on Monday, Aug 22 at 4pm.

Quarter-Final Results - winners in bold (% of vote)

  • The Box (49.8) Vs. The Den (50.2%)
  • Blue Frog (55%) Vs. Home Plate Bar-b-que (45%)
  • Union Bar & Grille (50.3%) Vs. Chef Too (49.7%)

About The Competition
We took the 12 winners of our Burger Wars series and seeded them so they could not meet another winner in Round One of The Beijinger Burger Cup. We then added the 12 losers and another eight wildcards into the mix to make an initial batch of 32 burgers. The first round will leave 16 burgers facing off against each other, then there will be eight remaining, then a semi-final before a final matchup sees you decide which is the best burger in town.

I've heard The Den and Blue Frog are both really good, but I think Blue Frog looks the best and The Den is better for brunch http://ow.ly/684tM

It's definitely a popularity contest... I wouldn't necessarily call them Beijing's best burger joints but most definitely the Champs of Popularity
