Where to Get Your Slider Fix in Beijing

It's no secret that we love burgers here at the Beijinger, and today we're going to be turning our attention to one type in particular: sliders. From dedicated slider slingers to eateries that have transformed their signature burgers into mini masterpieces, here are a few spots in Beijing to get your fix.  

Please note: Many of these establishments have multiple locations; for brevity's sake, we've listed one for each. You can check Dianping for more locations.

Slider Nation

When talking about sliders, we have to start with Slider Nation, whose dedication to the craft has won them much praise over the years. At their WAB branch, you can get quite a variety of options, including, of course, their signature OG Sliders (RMB 99), featuring Wagyu beef patties smashed with onions, topped with cheese and their signature sauce, sandwiched inside Hawaiian style steamed buns. 

Then, they've also got Turkey Sliders (RMB 99), Fried Chicken Sliders (RMB 79), BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders (RMB 89), Sausage Egg & Cheese Sliders (RMB 89) and the vegetarian King Shroom Sliders (RMB 65). All these come as a set of three sliders, plus your choice of duck fat fries or salad.

SMOR

Longfusi eatery SMOR has six different sliders available, including some more unusual options: Cheesy Mushroom, Vietnamese Style Beef, Salmon, Prawn, Foie Gras and Bacon Cheese. The sliders can be ordered as sets of three (RMB 84) or six (RMB 167), you can select any of your choosing, and come with fries, or for an additional RMB 11, a Corona can be added as well.

Jing-A

Last year, Jing-A introduced mini versions of four of their signature burgers: Stout Bacon Wagyu Burger (RMB 88), Tuhao Gold Foie Gras Hamburger (RMB 118), Truffle Mushroom Wagyu Burger (RMB 88) and New York Double Cheese Wagyu Burger (RMB 88). Each sees them swap out the regular burger for two sliders instead. Alternatively, they also have the Jing-A Mini Burger Union (RMB 198), where you can get one of each (four altogether) in slider form.

Beersmith

Next up, we've got Beersmith with their Wagyu Sliders (RMB 148/set of four), which sees mini Wagyu beef patties layered with lettuce, red onion and cheese. Now, what makes Beersmith's sliders different is that they come with a side of Cheese Sauce to drench them in for a truly decadent experience.

Similar to Jing-A, blue frog has a variety of their burgers available in mini form, including American BBQ Beef Sliders (RMB 98), Classic Cheeseburger Sliders (RMB 98) and Truffle Wagyu Beef Sliders (RMB 108). They also have Slider Sets available on delivery apps like Meituan Waimai, where you can get two sliders, a side and a can of Coke for RMB 59.9-69.9.

Great Leap

Great Leap's slider option is a great option for those who want a bit of variety. They do a Slider Trio (RMB 65) which includes mini versions of the Bacon Cheese Burger, Pulled Pork Coleslaw Burger and Huayuan Fried Chicken Burger.

Plan B

Plan B keeps things simple with their Sliders (RMB 70/for three), which are mini versions of their Cheeseburger, a beef patty paired with sharp cheddar, pickles, tomato, lettuce and Plan B's secret burger sauce.
