Eat Like a Caveman: Three Paleo Menus Around Town

Thanks to the lovely Lum Dim Sum, we just discovered that Middle Kingdom Fitness have organized three different Paleo Diet-friendly menus at Pak Pak Thai Kitchen (CBD location), Hatsune (Kerry Centre location) and Tribe Organic Restaurant, available from now until mid-February (click here for more info on the Paleo Diet).

The menus were designed to help members of Middle Kingdom Fitness complete the Caveman Challenge, where they try and stick to the Paleo diet for an entire month. However, they are available to anyone who wants to use the time in the run up to Chinese New year to kickstart their healthy lifestyle.

Pak Pak are offering four different set menus, with the added bonus of fresh squeezed juices for just RMB 20 when you order any of the menus. See the image below for more details. Whiskey-marinated lamb? Yes please.

Over at Hatsune, their menu is filled with all the best things in life: eggs, bacon and steak. For RMB 150, the menu includes their egg-splosion salad (read more on that here), steak teppanyaki, and clear mushroom soup

Tribe's Paleo menu feature ten different dishes, so you can keep going back without getting bored. All of the dishes sound pretty great, but we're particularly enamored by the grilled shrimp with citrus and mango pico de gallo, the Paleo breakfast (featuring chicken sausage, roast tomato, pumpkin hash, poached eggs and arugula salad), and the warm almond and ginger smoothie, sweetened with pear and maple syrup.
