Francophiles and Bon Vivants Rejoice! 13th French Film Panorama Kicks Off April 16

Francophiles and bon vivants rejoice! This year’s French Film Panorama is on it’s way again as part of the Beijing International Film Festival with films à gogo.

Panorama kicks off on April 16 and 12 diverse films are included in the showcase this year, 10 of which are recent French productions.

French director Benoît Jacquot and actress Alice Isaaz will be at the festival to present WW2 feature Come What May. Director and screenwriter Arnaud Desplechin will receive a tribute with the screening of his first two films, La Vie des morts and The Sentinel.

All of the films are in French with Chinese subtitles except for Mustang, which is in Turkish with Chinese subtitles.

Initiated by Unifrance – the organization promoting French films worldwide, and the French Embassy in China, the event will then travel on to six cities around China, Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Wuhan, and Xi’an, until the end of June.
