Consider Yourself a Foodie? Take the Beijinger’s Official Foodie Quiz and See Just How Much You Truly Love to Eat!
Foodie! That’s a word you’ve probably seen more than a few times on the Beijinger (especially in the runup to our International Foodie Weekend, happening Aug. 13-14 at Sanlitun Soho). Yes, it’s perhaps overused, but what exactly does the word mean, and who exactly qualifies as a foodie?
Merriam-Webster defines the word simply as: “A person who enjoys and cares about food very much.” And although we agree with the definition, it’s a bit too broad for my liking. What if we said: a hipster is a person who enjoys and cares about being hip. Doesn’t help much, does it?
Hence, in the run-up to next week’s International Foodie Weekend, we’ve come up with this quiz, which you can take by simply clicking here. And, much like most of the fare being offered next week, the quiz itself is bite-sized: there’s just 12 questions (all without annoying advertisements interspersed between questions – if you still use Yahoo! then you'll know what I’m talking about).
So go on, take our Foodie Quiz, and find out where, exactly, you lie on the foodie spectrum.
Also, feel free to share this quiz to flout and compare your greedy wits among your friends and family by copy and pasting the QR code below:

After you've taken the quiz, you can continue your foodie exploits by securing your spot at this week's International Foodie Weekend. Simply click here to pre-purchase a discounted ticket (and yes, China UnionPay, Alipay, and WeChat Wallet are all viable payment options). If, however, you’re more accustomed to paying in cold, hard cash, there's also the option to buy tickets at the reception desk of Sanfine International Hospital.
