Meet the Bands and Entertainers that Will Rock Your Buns Off at Burger Fest

We’ve got a beautiful lineup of entertainers to keep the vibes high at the 2021 Burger Festival at Langyuan Station. For those of you lucky enough to have attended past Burger Fests, there will be a few familiar faces along with some newcomers, and it will all be in a brand-new environment.

Located along the Liangma River near the 5th Ring Road, Langyuan Station makes for a great destination spot to spend the whole day out eating burgers and all-out jamming to sweet tunes!

But before we get to the professionals, we're also asking YOU to lend a hand on stage! 

Call for contestants: Best buns competition

We're bringing back the Best Buns Twerk-off! Think your rear-end can handle the heat? Contest will be held each day from 2pm-2.40pm. Interested participants may contact WeChat ID TBJButler or go to the Beijinger booth on-site at the festival.

Call for contestants: Freestyle rap battle

We're looking for aspiring freestylers to test their tongues with burger-based verses. We'll give you a few burger-related keywords ahead of time, and then we'll see how you do against our pros, who will also be performing: PhidaWay and Kikuchiyo Copper.

Contest will be held each day from 4pm-4.40pm. Interested participants may contact WeChat ID TBJButler or go to the Beijinger booth on-site at the festival.

DJ Arquitect

Opening and closing the show, DJ Arquitect knows how to get the party going with his unique vision of creating elaborate forms of expression by merging different musical styles. His stylings merge Latin music with Afro, Caribbean, house, and more. Catch him each day at 11am and 7pm.

Chanel & Erin

Chanel & Erin are an acoustic duo that will bring the house down with their fun takes on popular songs, as well creative medleys and sing-alongs that never fail to entertain. Featuring tight harmonies and a sharp sense of humor, these two are guaranteed to put on a good show. Catch them each day at 1pm.

Voodoo Childs

Taking you back to a simpler time, Voodoo Childs will let you imagine you're at Woodstock in the flesh with their nostalgic music and groovy attire. Made up of Johnny Strugg on guitar & vocals, Norman on bass & vocals, Gordon on keyboard & Elliot on drums, this dynamic crew will take you through an array of tunes that are sure to get you singing and dancing all night long. Catch them each day at 5pm.

Haus of Lily

Always a crowd fave, Haus of Lily will be putting on a drag show for the ages at this year's fest, making up for lost opportunity when they were cut off at Spicy Fest! Drag fans across the capital won't want to miss out. Catch the show each day at 6pm.

Sazon

These Cuban dancers and dance teachers deliver the most up-to-beat dance culture and trends. The SAZON faculty consists of four Cuban professionals whose expertise is not limited to Cuban dances but also includes other popular dances from around the world. At previous fests, the crowd has had a blast both watching and learning from SAZON. Catch them Sep 19 at 3PM.

Chain Reactions

Chain Reactions is a newly formed rock/punk cover band playing songs from Metallica and The Misfits to The Pixies. They'll be bringing an energy to the stage heretofore unseen at Burger Fest! Catch them Sep 20 at 3pm.

Since TMRW

Since tomorrow is a newly formed local drums and vocals duo featuring Xiaobing and Zhaoning. Catch them Sep 21 at 3pm.

Asea

With keyboard, drums, and vocals, this all-female troupe of Canadian and US teens who are students at the Western Academy of Beijing is ready to hit the big time at Burger Fest. Catch them Sep 19 at noon.

Handsome of Pop (HOP)

These kids know how to pop it! Ages 6-8, they're already experts when it comes to the moves. Catch them Sep 20 at noon.

Nathan Paul

Nathan Paul is an experienced square dance caller. He has traveled around China teaching American Square Dance. He brings whimsy and joy to the dance floor, guiding participants of all ages through the simple yet infectious moves. Catch him Sep 21 at noon.
