We are trying to be fair to all sides given that we're not an investigative news agency.
And then they put as title:
Stolen SALT?
yeah,,, that's nowhere near fairness.
The owners of this site are white, so it is obvious that they will automatically side with other whites, including the former owner of the restaurant, no matter what, even without substantial proof. Just look at their forum. It's filled with racist comments that would fit perfectly in Stormfornt, and those are simply ingnored by the Admin.
But concerning the story, who would you believe in those circumstances? A group of racists or a group of thieves?
it wouldn't be a strech to say that more than half of the restaurants in town get some supplies from dongjiao and this is gonna make it harder to do some business.
Between the increase in rents, salaries and the relative difficulty to find staff, prices are bound to go up rather soon.
As a restaurant/bar owner I have talked to many of my suppliers at Dongjiao and they are not all heading to the market out past 6th ring road. Many of them are scattering to different markets around the city but it seems the majority of them are going to a market just just East of Happy Valley at Wangsiying Bridge.
It sucks that this market is moving so far away and if you have a favorite vendor you best rush in there and find out which market they are relocating to quickly as dozens of vendors have already packed up and moved.
We've been using "tbj" since 2001 when we launched "that's Beijing," and we have continually used it since we switched names to "the Beijinger" in 2008.
You may not be familiar with the backstory of why "that's Beijing" is still being produced by our former publisher - it's a long story but suffice it to say we are now two completely separate organizations.
One of the main reasons we settled on the name "theBeijinger" was the fact that it also contains the initials "tbj."
Since it's a foreign brand, it's at a disadvantage. However, the important thing here is that if Apple charges $400 for the iPhone 5C, it's going to be right in the mix with other mid-tier players.
Contacted by the Beijinger, Wang commented that the "The former management owes money for salary, rent, distributors and we have proof." Wang said that she is not the manager, but is in fact a shareholder in the business. Mr. Xin could not be reached for comment.
So if Ms. Wang said this of the former management, why wasn't said former management contacted and asked for their take on alleged owed rents and salaries?
Former management was contacted. They said the problem was with Ms Wang.
So we have a contradiction (not surprising in business).
We are trying to be fair to all sides given that we're not an investigative news agency.
In the interest of full disclosure I can tell you that we have done business with the people who founded SALT (both with SALT and with other establishments they've founded in Beijing) 10 years and have found them to be reliable people.
Re: AQI under 50: Another Day of Healthy Air
It slightly depresses me that "Another day of healthy air" is actual news!

Though the cost of the bed is quite high but it looks antique. For making your interiors look outstanding the cost paid is worth it.
