Beijing News: National Holiday Subway Adjustments
To accommodate expected passenger flow during the upcoming National Holiday, the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission has announced some subway scheduling adjustments.
Partial Closures of Some Stations

- 前门站 Qianmen
- Closed from the scheduled departure time of the first train until 7.30pm (trains will pass through and not stop)
- Resumes normal operation 7.30pm until the scheduled departure time of the last train

Special reminder: Tiananmen East and Tiananmen West of Line 1, as well as Qianmen of Line 2 and Line 8, will implement “phased” operation measures from Sep 30 to Oct 6 and will operate normally on October 7 and 8.
Extended Subway Times - “7 Railway Stations, 2 Airports”
During the expected peak days of the holiday, in order to manage traffic flow to around Beijing’s railway stations, some subway lines will have extended hours of operation. Below are the railway stations and the expected changes to related subway lines and stations.

Lines 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, 14, 19 and the Daxing Airport Line will operate in a “loop network” during the extension times. Transfer between lines will be possible during the extension times.
