The Results are in: after a month-long battle that began with an appearance slinging Anxiety Burgers at our Launch Party in August, last year’s runner-up Slow Boat Brewery outpolled The Local to earn the title of champion of the 2015 Burger Cup.

Beijing to Open New Runway in 2018, Non-Stop Flights to Atlanta, Dublin, and Manchester on the Way

Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA), the world's second-busiest air passenger terminal, will open a fourth runway in 2018, the airport's general manager said in an interview.

The fourth runway, which opens the same year as the expected opening of the new international airport in Daxing, will be used primarily for landing, at 2,800 meters. The added capacity will help the airport serve eight million more passengers per year, said GM Shi Boli.

Flamme Goes Out in Sanlitun; Indigo Location Gets Snuffed Next Week

Today brings sad news for carnivorous Beijingers: Flamme International Grill is fizzling out. Assistant marketing manager Carrie Lei told the Beijinger this morning that the steakhouse's Sanlitun branch has already been shuttered, and that its Indigo branch will follow suit on Monday.
