Photos: Spot Yourself Among the Burgers at the Beijinger 2015 Burger Cup

On Saturday (Aug 15), the Beijinger successfully launched its 2015 Burger Cup at Universal Creative Park in 798. Over 2,000 people came to try out new burgers, check out their favorite vendors, and catch Tavey Lean and The Solid Gold Dream Machine put on a great performance even when a few men down. Here are some of the best photographs of that day. See if you can spot yourself in the crowd.

I certainly will thank and commend the rest of the Beijinger team again when adequate, SS, may you call that whining or not.

And as you are addressing it: Regarding the constructive part, that's something you have to try and learn by yourself, SS. Maybe not easy, but worth a try.

加油.

Admin, then clearly you're not paying attention either. LL, whatever. Anytime you'd care to make a constructive suggestion rather than just whine, it would be a welcome change.

Your replies and attitude certainly speak for themselves, SS,

no need for further comment. The rest of "The Beijinger"-team although

does indeed a good job, thanks for that and keep up the good work.

I didn't take lynxlynx's original comment as sarcastic. Isn't he/she commenting that its nice to see some good news for a change, given the recent bad news that Beijing and Tianjin have suffered?

Lynxlynx,

What would you prefer? Every time we write a story about something tragic that happens, that we write only about that for the following week? All black screens?

SS, clearly you don't know the difference between "recent blog posts" and "most read blog posts". And the "just up about Bangkok" is mostly about food again. Your reply is incorrect and unfair.

No dooming done, SS, just the facts pointed out.

Lynxlynx, clearly you're not paying attention. Look at our most read blog posts: two stories about SLT, and one about Tianjin, and a new post just up about Bangkok. Your comment is incorrect and unfair.

When we write about local news events, we get blasted. When a reader feels we haven't written about something, we get blasted. We'll continue to cover Beijing as comprehensively as we always do.

Ah, bombings in BKK, catastrophe in TJ, murder in SLT - at least at TBJ the world is still in peace and

harmony, all recent blog posts are about food and burgers and restaurants and Qixi and ... food.
